What we log for quality

To improve answers, OxfordOne may log:

• Anonymous short-lived session id
• Query text and answer id
• Citation URLs used
• Helpful / not-helpful feedback
• Error codes and latency
• Whether a PDF or voice input was used (flags only)

What we don’t keep

• Your name or email on the public ask path
• Long-term storage of uploaded PDF bytes (processed, then discarded)
• Long-term storage of voice audio (transcribed in-browser when possible, then discarded)
